CRAWFORDVILLE, FL – Theron C. Jones, 54, of Crawfordville  passed away on May 23, 2024.

Theron was born in Tallahassee on Dec. 6, 1969, as one of a set of twins to Edward A. and Onice R. Jones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward A. Jones and mother, Onice R. Jones.

Theron is survived by his sisters and their husbands, Onaleah and Bill McClellan, Selene and Robbie Payne and his twin brother and wife, Daron and Daniela Jones. He was an uncle to Jeffery McClellan, Kaylee Payne Cruz, Shayna Payne, Jacen Jones and Meagan Jones.

Theron enlisted in the Florida National Guard after graduating from Liberty County High School. He worked as a satellite communications system repair technician. After active-duty training, he attended the University of West Florida in Pensacola, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems. Theron had a career working in database and document management for various companies over the past 30 years. Theron had a love of computer science and gaming. He spent time gaming online and in person with his friends and family.

He loved being out on the water in Oyster Bay on his boat.

A graveside service will be held at Lake Mystic Cemetery Tuesday, May 28 at 1 p.m. EST.

All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
