BLOUNTSTOWN – A firefighter passing by noticed a fully involved mobile home and summoned help from the Blountstown Fire Dept. and the West Side VFD Thursday morning around 9 a.m. “Not much we could do for that building but we were able to protect the surrounding structures,” said Blountstown Fire Chief Ben Hall about the structure, located at 16911 NW 13th Street, about 200 yards from SR 20.   The building is believed to be abandoned and did not have electricity.  Investigators with the State Fire Marshal are investigating.
