Altha School will host Annual Veterans
Day program on Wednesday morning
ALTHA – Â Altha Public School, the Altha FFA Chapters, the Altha School Culinary Department, and the Music Department are proud to invite our entire community to join us in honoring our local veterans at our annual Veterans Day Program. This event is a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for the brave men and women who have served our country with honor and dedication.
The program will start at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the school’s courtyard, (weather permitting, or the gym.
Our Veterans Day Program promises to be a moving and patriotic event, and we encourage everyone to attend. This year’s program will feature a wide range of activities and presentations, including:
Opening Ceremony: We will kick off the event with an opening ceremony, featuring the presentation of the colors and the national anthem.
Guest Speaker: Veteran Jamie Mills, from our own community, will share his stories and experiences, providing insight into the sacrifices and triumphs of his service.
Musical Performances: Our talented students will deliver musical performances that pay tribute to the dedication and valor of our veterans.
Student Readings: FFA members will recite readings expressing their gratitude to our veterans and what
their service means to our country.
Recognition of Local Veterans: We will recognize and honor local veterans in attendance, showing our deep appreciation for their service.
Reception: A reception with refreshments will follow the program, providing an opportunity for community members to interact with our honored veterans and share their appreciation.
We encourage all community members, students, parents, and local organizations to join us in this
celebration of our veterans. This event is a meaningful opportunity to come together as a community and express our gratitude to those who have served our nation.
