Alicia Rhodes named
2024 Volunteer of the
Year for Ameris Bank
BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Alicia Rhodes, Assistant Branch Manger of Ameris Bank in Blountstown, was recently named Ameris Bank’s 2024 Volunteer of the Year.
Alicia was selected out of pool of thousands of employees at Ameris Bank for her extraordinary commitment to community service.
Alicia has been with Ameris Bank in the Blountstown Branch for over 12 years. She has been a volunteer firefighter with Mossy Pond Volunteer Fire Department for six years. She is passionate about taking care of people. At Ameris, she cares for the financial well being of her customers, and in her firefighter role, she cares for their physical safety and wellbeing.
Her dedication to her community runs deep in her family, her husband is the Chief of Mossy Pond VFD, and even her daughters are active members of the department. This dedication started with her family when she was young, she watched various members of her family selflessly dedicate their time to their communities through their local VFDs.
Alicia was awarded $2,500 from the Ameris Foundation for winning this prestigious award to the charity of her choice. She chose to share that grant with the Mossy Pond Fire Department.
It’s an honor to have her on our team at Ameris Bank. She truly has the HEART OF A LION.
