CALHOUN COUNTY, FL – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and the North Star Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force were busy Wednesday traveling though the county to serve arrest warrants and pick up suspects.
Numerous patrol vehicles were seen around the Live Oak Heights neighborhood that morning and the presence of the sheriff’s office helicopter attracted a lot of attention as task force members searched from above for suspects trying to elude arrest on the ground.
Sheriff Glenn Kimbrel said several suspects have been taken into custody as of Wednesday afternoon. More arrests are expected as the group continues their efforts targeting drug-related criminal activity.
