Chipola Honors Program

MARIANNA, FL – The Chipola’s Honors Program had the privilege of hosting Danny Ryals as the distinguished speaker at this semester’s Honors Seminar on Feb. 12. With over 20 years of service on the Chipola College Board of Trustees, Danny Ryals is a passionate advocate for education and community development. His dedication to Chipola College and the surrounding region was evident as he shared his wealth of experience and insights with students.

During his speech, Ryals discussed his longstanding commitment to the college, focusing on the importance of leadership and making decisions that serve both students and the greater community. He reflected on his two decades of contributions, emphasizing the need for resilience, foresight, and collaboration in creating opportunities for growth. Ryals also spoke about his role in fostering an environment that places student success at the core of institutional progress.

Register now for Chipola Spring 

Term C, Classes to start March 3

MARIANNA, FL – It’s not too late to register for spring classes at Chipola College. Registration for Spring Term C opens on Monday Feb. 24. Classes begin March 3 and end on April 29.

Currently enrolled students may add Term C classes to their schedule. New students are encouraged to apply to the college and register as soon as possible.

Students may register in person with a college adviser, or online at my.chipola.edu if they meet certain requirements.

Chipola offers Bachelor’s Degrees, Associate in Arts Degrees, Associate in Science Degrees, Workforce Development programs and certifications.

McLendon Scholarships 

available this summer

MARIANNA, FL -The McLendon Educational Trust Scholarship online application is now open and accepting applications for the upcoming Summer 2025 semester. 

The application deadline is March 13, 2025.
