QUINCY, FL – Talquin Electric Cooperative, Inc. (“Talquin”), a Member-owned, not-for-profit electric Cooperative, selected 16 high school juniors from Gadsden, Leon, and Wakulla Counties to participate in the Talquin Youth Tour February 12th through 13th. “I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to the students selected for this year’s Talquin Youth Tour,” said Tracy Bensley, General Manager of Talquin. “The students chosen this year reflect the remarkable potential and leadership qualities of our local youth. Talquin is proud of their commitment to this experience and looks forward to seeing the positive difference they will bring to their communities.”
The two-day Youth Tour included a visit and tour of the Florida Supreme Court. Students had the unique opportunity to sit in the same chairs as the Florida Supreme Court Justices.
