FHP seeks info on hit
and run vehicle today
WAKULLA COUNTY, FL – The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in locating a red SUV involved in a hit-and-run that left a nine-year-old boy with critical injuries shortly before 4 p.m. today, Jan. 8, in Wakulla County.
The vehicle could be a Ford Escape or Jeep 4 door (shown below). The vehicle collided with a child on a motorcycle. After the collision, the driver fled from the scene.  Â
The boy, who is from Crawfordville, was traveling north on East Exalibur Drive when the SUV made a right turn onto Country Way. The front of the vehicle – which was traveling in the correct lane – collided with the motorcycle, unseating the youngster. The little boy was wearing a helmet.
