Obituary – Teresa Arlene Rudd

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Teresa Arlene Rudd, 65, passed away on July 17, 2024 in Tallahassee surrounded by her family. She was born in Gadsden County on April 16, 1959 to parents Willie and Mabel Rudd. She was a devoted caretaker for Ms. Betty Roberts, whom she adored. Teresa loved to sit on her porch and get on her golf cart and visit with her neighbors.

Survivors include her son, Michael “Shawn” Rudd; sisters Peggy Boyette, Azie Moore and Jessie (“Cindy Rudd”) Ransom; grandchildren Michael Chase Jordan, Austin Shawn Rudd and Raylee May Rudd as well as one great-granddaughter along with a host of extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Mt. Zion United Pentecostal Church, located at 17177 Hwy. 65, in Hosford,  on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
