CLARKSVILLE,   FL – June Lenora Goodwin of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

She was born Dec. 20, 1932 to Gustav Peterson and Doris Bloomberg.

June moved to Clarksville in 1971,  where she worked for many years with her husband in the swimming pool business.  She then retired from River Valley Rehab after years of cooking for the residents.

June loved her flowers, fishing, cooking, and sewing. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Clarksville.

She is survived by sons, Bobby Goodwin and wife Lori, of Altha; George Goodwin of Altha; Gus Goodwin and wife Teresa of Blountstown; Ronnie Goodwin and wife Wanda of Altha; daughter Debra Harnage and husband Richard of Thorn Hill, TN; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Carol Calvill of Almont Springs.

Services were  held  Saturday, Nov. 9 at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown. Interment followed  in Herndon Cemetery in Clarksville.

All arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
