• QUILT SHOW, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. CT at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement in Blountstown.   Cast your vote for the People’s Choice award.  Gift basket raffles and lunch during the show. Admission $8 per person; $6 for those 55 and over. 

SATURDAY, MAY 3

• QUILT SHOW CONTINUES, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. CT at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement in Blountstown.  

• 1st ANNUAL RIVERTOWN STREET CRUISERS CAR, TRUCK & BIKE SHOW from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.   CT at the Panhandle Settlement in   Blountstown.  People’s Choice Judging, Trophies, Top 10 and Best in Show to be awarded.  Free registration.  Call (850) 674-2777 for more information.

• FREE LEGAL CLINIC at R. Frank Nims Middle School at 723 W. Orange Ave. in Tallahassee from 9 –  11:30 p.m.  No appt. necessary; walk-ins welcome. A dozen attorneys will be on hand to help citizens with their legal issues.

TUESDAY, MAY 6

• Camp Gordon Johnston  WW11 Museum in Carrabelle will present an exhibit May 6-31 on the Liberation of Paris during World War II. This exhibit opens Tuesday, May 6 and continues until Saturday, May 31.  The museum is open Tuesday –  Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge for admission, but donations are gladly accepted.

THURSDAY,  MAY 8

•Chipola’s Children’s Theatre Production: Junie B. Jones will be performed May 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Theatre. Tickets available online at www.chipola.edu/boxoffice. • SWAMP GRAVY’s latest production,  Freaky Friday: The Musical,  runs at Cotton Hall Theater in Colquitt, GA on May 9, 10, 16 and 17.
