The Chipola College Theatre Department presents Disney’s Mary Poppins, Feb. 22-25 with a cast and crew of almost 100 students and community members.

Mary Poppins is the story of the Banks family who live in a big house in London on Cherry Lane. Things are not going well for the family. The children, Jane and Michael, are out of control and are in need of a new nanny. Jane and Michael have their own ideas about what sort of caretaker they should have, while their parents – and in particular Mr. Banks – are insistent on someone strict for the job. When a mysterious young woman named Mary Poppins appears at their doorstep, the family finds that she’s the answer to their prayers, but in the most peculiar way. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “anything can happen if you let it.”

The cast includes: Maison Dickson (Mary Poppins), Tanner Steele (Bert), Brett Floyd (George Banks), Dianna Floyd (Winifred Banks), Keylin Parker (Jane Banks), Parker Dickson (Michael Banks), Lori Olsen (Mrs. Brill), Carson Neel (Robertson), Sierra Hernandez (Mrs. Corry, Miss Smyth, Queen Victoria), Aly Matthews (Miss Andrew, Katie Nanna), Beth Kidd (Bird Woman), Alijah Dorsla (Neleus, Valentine), Hanna Harris (Miss Lark), Caden Kearns (Admiral Boom, Bank Chairman), Jamie Sykes (Park Keeper), Angel Gabriel Tirado (John Northbrook), James Isabella (Von Hussler), Emma Kimbrel (Annie), Caroline Sims (Fanny), Weston Basford (Mr. Punch), Michael Green (Teddy Bear), Alex Eidson (Michael Banks understudy) and Audrey Kleiser (Jane Banks understudy).  Members of the ensemble include: Daniel Clubb, Sandi Kimbrel, Raille Oost, Rebecca Fanchette, Rachael Poole, Loren Carter, Allee Carter, Allie Anderson, Elijah Ellis, Zeb Kimbrel, Nathan Kimbrel, Ryder Floyd, Paris Southerland, Zoey Caughran, Aubree Pittman, Maggie Attwood, Ella Schreffler, Gracie Speers, Baylee Yoder, Samantha Trotman, Harper Henson, Brenleigh Jeter, Norah Bunting, Hadley Hatcher, and Ryleigh Yoder.
