FUNERAL – Services for Ruth Lolley Moore, 90, will be held at Glory Hill Holiness Church with visitation starting at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. CT.

Muscogee (Creek) Nation historic marker dedication begins at 2 p.m.  CT at the Calhoun County Courthouse in Blountstown.

Thursday, MAY 16

FUNERAL – Services for Roy Lamar “Fatcat” Flanders, 60, will be held  at 11 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.

Friday, MAY 17

FUNDRAISER –  A chicken pilau to raise funds to help Barbara Wagoner with expenses related to her cancer treatment will begin at 11 a.m. ET at the Bristol Boat Landing.  Doobie Hayes and his team will be cooking.  Plates will be $7 each.

BAT NIGHT at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement from 5:30 – 8 p.m. CT.  Free admission. Join us for a fun-filled educational evening of bat facts beginning at 6 p.m. CT in the Clubhouse.  Family fun, games, glow sticks and food.

Saturday, MAY 18

MEMORIAL SERVICE for Peggy Sue Chabot Palmer, 69, of Blountstown at 10 a.m. CST, 11 a.m. EST at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bristol.
