Saturday’s 2nd annual flag raising

Folks working to find answers for the critical erosion problems at Liberty County’s Estiffnulga Landing braved inclement weather Saturday to hoist the flag as they  launched their second year’s effort to bring awareness to the historic settlement with more than a 400 year written history.  Plans for the Second Annual “Flag  Raisin’ and Ratchet Jaw Festival” scheduled that day were postponed due to the rain and will be rescheduled for a future date.  For more information about their efforts, call (850) 643-9010.
