DOT gives update on trail development
and environmental study for SR 30 and
Ochlockonee Bridge in Franklin County
CHIPLEY – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has new information concerning the S.R. 30 (U.S. 98) Trail Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from Kenneth B. Cope Avenue to the east end of the Ochlockonee Bridge project in Franklin County. This information can be accessed online now at nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings .
The intent of this study is to support a wide range of nonmotorized modes of transportation for all users as part of the Capital City to the Sea Trail (CC2ST) system in Franklin County. The project is 20.5 miles in length. This information provides interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed improvements.
Maps, drawings, and other information will be available for review at nwflroads.com/virtualmeetings . The deadline to submit official comments related to this project update is Monday, Oct. 16.
