PANAMA CITY, FL – It  wasn’t the ride he planned to take when he walked through the gates of the Bay County Fair Friday night, but a Georgia fugitive who went to enjoy the festivities ended the evening being driven to the Bay County Jail after a deputy recognized him.

Shar-Quez Jaheem Daughtry, who was using the name Shar-Quez Jaheem Johnson, is wanted in Savannah, GA for malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.

The information and his picture was sent out to local law enforcement after authorities learned Daughtry was in the county.    A Bay County Sheriff’s Office deputy working at the fair that evening recognized Daughtry as he came through the gate. He was handcuffed and taken into custody.

  1. Do you really expect “us” to believe, that of all the patrons that came through those gates, the officer recognized this one individual? Sure, his picture was sent to local law enforcement agencies, notifying them that he was in the county…something tells me that if they knew he was in the county, then they also knew his whereabouts; ala, they followed him! That, or the officer “studied” his picture so intensely that he could pick him out from a crowd of thousands at a county fair….yeah, which one sounds more plausible?

    1. So who cares the dude was wanted for malice murder does it really matter how or why he was apprehended? He doesn’t belong in society period! Are you actually defending that POS?

    1. Thank you, Mr. Williford. I appreciate hearing that. I’m still learning the basics of setting up a website and hope to do more with it in the future. Please keep checking in online. Those clicks showing when readers visit the site help me build up ad customers, which will be the only way I can stay in business. Thank you again.
