Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 15

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. It’s a time to reflect on things you’re thankful for and to enjoy time with family and eat foods you usually only get once or twice a year. I feel fortunate that so many in my family, the Price and Smith sides, are (and were) excellent cooks and bakers. So this Thanksgiving, I’m inviting you to join our family at BHS to start off this holiday season. The menu includes recipes that my family has been enjoying for decades.

Choice of Appetizer:

  • House Salad with House-made Ranch or Pepper-jelly Vinaigrette

  • Samantha’s Tomato Bisque

  • Brenda’s Fall Squash Dip with Sue’s Hoecake and Crustini

  • Kathy’s Charcuterie Board

Entree:

  • Bryan’s Brined and Roasted Turkey

  • Mamaw’s Cornbread Dressing with Cranberry Relish

  • Gran’s Sweet Potato Souffle

  • Janice’s Brown Rice

  • Gran’s Sauteed Green Beans with Garlic

Choice of Dessert:

  • Janet’s German Chocolate Cake

  • LaVerne’s Pumpkin Roll

  • Brenda’s Pecan Pie

  • Sarah Lynn’s Pumpkin Pie

So come join us on November 15! The cost of the meal is $16 and reservations must be made by Thursday, Nov. 9. Due to spacial restrictions, we will be capping the reservations at 200 and for October, we sold out in 36 hours.

We will not be making deliveries on this Tiger’s Table so our new staff/students can properly train.
