HOSPITAL PASSES AHCA SURVEY WITH NO DEFICIENCIES
Calhoun-Liberty Hospital passes
AHCA survey with no deficiencies
BLOUNTSTOWN – Calhoun Liberty Hospital (CLH) recently received an exceptional achievement with the biennial Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) survey.
CLH had no findings of deficiencies in all areas assessed. Achieving a survey with no findings from AHCA is a significant benchmark for excellence in healthcare. It confirms that operational, clinical and administrative practices are not only compliant but exemplary within the industry.
AHCA surveys are conducted to rigorously assess whether healthcare facilities are complying with established state and federal regulations. The aim is to ensure all aspects of patient care, from safety protocols to clinical services, adhere to the highest standards of healthcare delivery.
“This milestone underscores CLH’s continued dedication to delivering the highest quality healthcare to our community,” said Chad Moore, CLH Chief Operating & Clinical Officer. “This achievement is a direct reflection of our collective effort to uphold the integrity and quality of patient care.”
AHCA operates under the jurisdiction of state government, aligning with state and federal guidelines, including those set by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This alignment helps ensure that healthcare providers meet comprehensive and unified criteria for quality and safety.
Calhoun Liberty Hospital administration and Board of Directors commend the staff for their dedication to excellence, which has been pivotal in realizing this significant accomplishment.
“Our hospital board continues to be impressed and inspired by the commitment of the CLH team and their dedication to our patients and community,” said CLH Board Chair Mark Plummer. “With a construction under way of our new facility, we are excited about the future of Calhoun Liberty Hospital.”
