MARIANNA, FL – The Jackson County Extension Office is offering two unique summer programs next month. Both day camps will be held at the Jackson County Ag Complex, located at 2741 Penn Ave. in Marianna.
•ADULT FOR A DAY: June 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Campers get to experience living on their own with a hands-on, real-life simulation that will give them a new perspective on the decisions they will have to make as adults. Additionally, the camp will introduce kids to healthy living and how to prepare tasty, nutritional meals.

•4-H 9-DAY PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP July 10 – Aug. 1 from 7:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. CT
The purpose of this camp is to learn creativity through photography. Campers will learn what goes into the composition of an image, different types of photography, how to build a photography portfolio, and how to prepare photographs for a show. Additionally, participants in this camp will have the opportunity to enter their photographs into a Junior Photo Show on Aug. 10. At the end of camp, participants will receive a 16” x 20” print-out of their favorite photo which will be included in a gallery exhibition and entered into a Junior Photo Show on August 10.
