Class of 1958 gather for reunion
Liberty County High School’s Class of 1958 celebrated the 65th anniversary of their graduation with a gathering Saturday evening.
Classmates attending included, pictured from left in the back row, Lawrence Lindsey, Randal Peddie, Winston Barber, Coy Dasher, John H. Green and Harry Harriman.  Shown in the front row are Euratha Johnson Nichols, Virginia Gunn Whitehorn, Betty Hornsby Wargo, Bill Maher and Bob Pickron.
There were 27 students in the graduating class.
The year this group graduated, the minimum wage was $1 an hour, eggs were 32 cents a dozen, you could buy a gallon of gas for a quarter and the average cost of a new home was $12,750, according to thepeoplehistory.com.
