ANGELA DARLENE REVELL
BRISTOL – Angela Darlene “Jella” Revell, 66, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in her home surrounded by family.
Angela was born Dec. 6, 1956, in Lucedale, MS to the late Evan Dobbins and Alda Webb Chambers. She received an associates degree in accounting, and went on to serve her country in the United States Army until she was honorably discharged. Angela worked hard her entire life and had many different jobs, but her favorite had to be managing the lunchroom for Hosford Elementary School. Jella was an avid reader and also enjoyed canning and crocheting with her sisters and friends. She will be remembered for her fiery spirit, her tireless energy, and her love of serving others. Jella was always willing to lend a hand to a friend in need, and she loved to cook for others. She didn’t think there was a problem in this world that a good meal couldn’t solve, and she was more than willing to provide that meal for you.
In addition to her parents, Angela is reunited in death with her beloved husband, Danny Revell and her sister, Julie Chambers.
Survivors include her sons, James Moffitt (Jennifer), Timothy Davenport and Seth Revell; her daughter, Aimee Wood (Cole); her brothers, Steve Dobbins and James Chambers; her sisters, Trel Revell and April Fraiser; her grandchildren, Vanessa, Brianna, Ashlyn, Kaitlyn, Emily, Isabell, Sadie, Landon, Everett, Kayden, Vivian, Jameson, Millie and Karen; along with a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
