Ann Lee Weiler

BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Ann Lee Weiler, 89, of Blountstown, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Ann was an only child, born July 26, 1926 to the late John Ottis and Sarah C. Gaff Sims on North Pear Street in Blountstown. She attended Blountstown High School and graduated in the class of 1944. After high school she attended Massey Business School  in Montgomery, AL

In 1974, she and her son Jack built and operated Embers Restaurant and lounge for eight years.  She also had a career in insurance for 38 years until her retirement in 1992.

Ann was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blountstown.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her two husbands, John Sheridan and Karl Weiler.

Ann is survived by her son, Jack Weiler, and his wife Janis; her grandchildren, Jason Weiler and wife Shannon, Jodie Speciale and her husband John and Jared Weiler and wife Tiffany; her great-grandchildren, Chelsey Weiler, Logan Weiler, Morgan Weiler, Jordan Granger, Mallex Granger and Jagger Weiler; her great -grandchildren, Tyler Hall and Emerson Weiler.

Services to honor Ann’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Monday.
