Obituary – Barbara Wagoner
Barbara Wagoner
BRISTOL, FL – Barbara Wagoner, 53, of Bristol, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2024. She was born Nov. 5, 1970 in Sapulpa, OK.
She was a woman who played so many roles: a mother, wife, nana, and sister, most importantly a confidant. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, swimming, camping, cookouts, fishing – you name it she was there. She loved to be in the sun and listening to her wind chimes on breezy days. When she wasn’t outside you could find her watching Lifetime, SVU, or some scary movie with one of her many children.
She was a best friend to her children and her husband. She was known as a second mother to so many of her children’s friends during childhood, expanding and taking in people to feel her unconditional love. She was always warm and welcoming – the type of person whose hugs could make the world stop and all your stress melt away. She was wise beyond her years, bold, blunt, sassy and outspoken. She was a shoulder to cry on during hard times and a rock to make sure everything was taken care of.
She was a mother of seven children, all gentle, kind, outspoken, and loving due to her hard work a dedication to being a mother. She was honest, selfless, stern, gentle, stubborn, and a fighter – simply a one-of-a-kind creation given to us by God.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Lillie Henson, and sister, Shela Henson.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan Wagoner; sons, Ivan and Hannah Wagoner, David Wagoner, Devon and Lillie Wagoner, Jacob and Lauren Wagoner; daughter, Robin Wagoner and Jonathan Miller, Brandy Wagoner and Mikey Hervell, Stephanie Wagoner; sisters Lillie Murphy, Evelin Boden, Brenda Morton and 15 grandchildren.
