BONNIE MYRL McDONALD
ALTHA – Bonnie Myrl McDonald, 89, of Altha, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at her home.
She was born on March 19, 1934 in Altha to Luther Soloman and Ethel Rebecca (Creamer) Holland and had lived in Altha for a good part of her life. Bonnie loved reading her Bible, watching the animals in her yard and her flowers. Most of all. she loved her family. Bonnie was a member of Victory Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Altha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Terrell Holland and Earl Holland; sisters, Mildred Newsome, Margaret Todd and Marie Boals; and grandson-in-law, Brian Bieler.
Survivors include her husband, Guilford McDonald of Altha; one son, Nathan MacDonald (Amanda) of Lynn Haven; two daughters, Toni Corlett of Altha and Danielle Pando (Jonathon) of North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Tiffany, Lorrie, Jasmine, Nikki, Christian, David, Wendy, Kaden, Grace and Nate; along with nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Victory Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church where Rev. Dwayne Tolbert officiated. Interment followed in Victory Hill Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to services at Victory Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church.
All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
