BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Christine Stewart, 82, of Blountstown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 at her home. Christine was born in Altha Dec. 8, 1942 to the late Roy and Inez Adkins.

She was a homemaker, an avid gardener and enjoyed spending days on the porch feeding birds and fishing when she could.

Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Ellis “Dick” Stewart; her son, James Stewart and her brothers and sisters, Leroy “Dobin” Adkins, Charles Adkins, Betty Sexton and Charlene Miller.

Survivors include her sons, Rubin Stewart and his wife Belle, Jeff Stewart and his wife Joann and Daniel Stewart and his wife April; her daughter, Annie “Sissy” Caughran and her husband Ross; her sister Susie Adkins; her grandchildren, Jessica, Scott, Kayla, Jeffrey, Austin, Aaron, Michael, Justin, Lyle and Paige; seven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Sunny Hill Cemetery near Altha.

Adams Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
