Obituary – Craig Allen Creel
BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Craig Allen Creel, age 56, of Blountstown passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 29, 2023.
Craig was born on Sept. 22, 1967, in Palatka to Charles Franklin Creel and Ruthie Dean (Alexander) Creel. He had lived in Blountstown most of his life. He was a member of the Protestant faith.
Craig was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, but if there was anything he loved more it would be his passion for truck driving. His favorite thing in life was his love and devotion to his family.
Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Franklin and Ruthie Dean (Alexander) Creel; sister, Carolyn Shields; grandparents, Charles and Myrtice Creel and John and Effie Alexander; mother-in-law, Vivian Ann Dunn; father-in-law, Wilmer Earl Smith and sister-in-law, Stacie Alday.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Angela Nichole “Nikki” Creel; his daughter, Ashley Smith and husband Troy; stepsons Cole Dawsey and Michael Dawsey; stepdaughter Allison Maloy and husband Cole; brother, Jerome Creel and wife Lazelle; brother-in-law Jerry Shields; grandson Bryor ; step-grandchildren Mason and Maddie as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. (CT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Pastor Michael Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Altha.
