Debra Schwendeman
BRISTOL, FL – Debra Schwendeman, 70, of Bristol, passed away June 3, 2024 at her home.
Debra was born in Blountstown on Oct. 29, 1953 to the late Albert and Hazel Tanton.
She lived in Bristol most of her life and was a member of the Bristol Assembly of God Church. She worked with the Calhoun and Liberty County Senior Citizens as a transport driver for many years until her retirement. One of her favorite pastimes was playing Bingo.
Other than her parents, Debra is also preceded in death by her husband in 2019, R.D. Schwendeman; a brother, Charles Hill and her sisters, Barbara McDaniel and Phyllis Swearington.
Survivors include her sons, Robert “Robbie” Schwendeman Jr., Aaron Schwendeman and his wife Kimberly and Albert Schwendeman; her daughter, Karen Terry; nine grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Family and friends honored Debra’s life with a memorial service June 6 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Morris officiating.
Adams Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
