Floyd Gerald Bailey
Manila, Â AR – Floyd Gerald Bailey, age 72, of Manila, AR, went to be with his Lord on October 23, 2023, in Marked Tree. Floyd was born on April 1, 1951, to the late James T. Kirkland and Nora (Summerlin) Kirkland in Blountstown, FL.
Floyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
He was of the Christian faith and had most recently attended The Crossing Church in Paragould. He loved the Lord and was a great testament of faith.
He co-owned Cornerstone Roofing and Construction and was dedicated to his clients and business. Floyd had a tender heart and led his family with love and goodness. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his friends in his free time. He was a wonderful friend and was always ready to help anyone in need. He was very generous and would give anyone the shirt off his back.
Floyd always prayed for everyone. He pastored people with addictions at Real Hope Community Church and brought great hope through the Word of God to so many. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Mary F. (Bridges) Bailey; his son, Shane (Brandy) Bailey; daughters, Ginny (Eric) Krapf, April Love (Curtis) Towell, and Jessie (Edwin) Interiano; siblings, Ernest, James, Annette, Libby, and Susie; grandchildren, Chloé (Nathan Villagomez) Bailey, Bella Bailey, Truman Krapf, Kenady Krapf, Jacob Towell, Jonah (Jessica) Towell, Emalee (James) Scott, Coty (Leigha) Towell, and Liam Interiano; great-grandchildren, E.J. and Junior, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, at Mitchell Funeral Home with Pastor Jared Pickney officiating. Burial followed at Linwood Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers were Eric Krapf, Jacob Towell, Jonah Towell, Coty Towell, Curtis Towell, and Truman Krapf.
Arrangements were handled by Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould, AR.
