CLARKSVILLE, FL – Gary Lynn Duncan, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023 in Clarksville.
Gary was born on March 7, 1956, in Wewahitchka to Othella Sewell and had lived in Clarksville most of his life.
Gary was a businessman who owned North Florida Diversified and Panhandle Machine Shop in Clarksville for over 30 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, loved hunting and fishing, and appreciated old cars. Gary was a member of the Protestant faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy, and a sister.
He is survived by his sons, Chris Duncan and wife Wandee of Blountstown and Justin Duncan and wife Tiffany of Cottondale; daughter, Samantha Johnson and husband Steve of Blountstown; two brothers; one sister and his grandchildren, Shelby, Keegan and fiancé Sydnee, Carson, Tate, and Gavin; great-grandchildren Gracie, Aubree, Greyson, and Samuel.
A memorial service will be held Friday Sept. 29 at Gateway Baptist Church at 1 p.m. CT with Rev. Dewayne Tolbert officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
All arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
