Harold Lee Logan
PANAMA CITY, FL – Harold Lee Logan, 83, of Panama City, died Friday, Aug, 9, 2024 at Ascension Sacred Heart in Panama City.
He was born Nov. 27, 1940 to Roland and Mattie Logan of Alliance. His fondest memories were spending time with his Uncle Rob and Aunt Goldie. He passed away at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay after suffering respiratory failure.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya Logan; his children Beth Logan, Christy Logan and DeKrizia Logan of Naples, and his sister Lorene Shisler of Fort Mill, SC.
Harold graduated from Grand Ridge High School then went on to Chipola Jr. College, the University of Tennessee and Troy State, graduating with a major in Chemistry and minor in Math. From there he applied with the Pharmaceutical Company Parke-Davis and was hired immediately. He started his career with Parke-Davis in August of 1964 until he retired in 1997. During this time he went on to build and develop nine successful beauty schools which he oversaw and managed while continuing his career with Parke-Davis.
In 1983 Harold had visions of other things and went on to develop his own office complex in Florence, SC. Not bad for a country boy from Alliance.
Services were held Aug. 15 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Altha.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to one of his favorite charities, St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html?sc_icid=impactgiving-bttn-memory&dedication=1&frequency_selected=0
