HARRY WILLIAM LANCE BUTLER
CLARKSVILLE, TN – Harry William Lance Butler, age 54 of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, at his home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Lance entered this life on Dec. 8, 1968, in Tallahassee, FL to the late James Butler and Janet Smith Butler.
He worked as an industrial engineer for Aludyne, loved life and spending time with his family. During football season, Lance could be found cheering on the Florida Gators. He liked various types of music and enjoyed attending concerts. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking for his family and friends, and playing in a travel softball league. He played for numerous teams around the Clarksville and Nashville areas, including Nashville Sporting Goods, Budweiser, and the Louisville Sluggers. Lance was the recipient of The Home Run King award.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Kristi Butler; children, Silas Butler, Samuel Butler, Ashley White, and Austin White; grandson, Parker Butler; sister, Amy (Gilbert) Butler Zapatka; brother, Justin (Dawn) Pace; aunt, Susan Sumner Johnson; nephews, Ryan Zapatka, Jacob Pace; niece, Savannah Pace, and many extended family members and friends.
