Obituary – J.B. Musgrove
ALTHA, FL – J. B. Musgrove, age 86, of Altha passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2023 at his home in Altha.
J.B. was born on February 1, 1937 in Altha to Jesse Musgrove and Rachael Phillips Musgrove and had lived in Altha all his life.
He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, gardening and visiting friends, but most of all he truly loved his family. He was a member of the Camp Head assembly of God Church.
J. B. was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Musgrove and Rachael Phillips Musgrove and two brothers, Tommy Phillips and Jimmy Musgrove.
Survivors include his nephew, Kevin Musgrove and his wife, Jackie of Altha; two nieces, Melissa Murphy and husband, Hudson of Pensacola, and Cathy Scott of Grand Ridge and great-nephew J.K. Musgrove and his wife, J. Larin of Altha, along with several other family members.
Services weree held Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023 at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Tolbert officiating. Interment followed in Chipola Cemetery in Altha.
Aarrangements were under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
