WEWAHITCHKA, FL – James Dallas Veasey, 59, born on June 16, 1966 in Wewahitchka, recently passed away at his home.
James was a self-taught shade tree mechanic. In his previous years, he was a welder, tree logger and a truck driver. He was a jack of all trades.
James was known as friend to many who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Well known for being rough around the edges, he had a giving heart.
James had a great love for his niece and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Helen Louella Veasey; Â his father, Rexel Dallas Veasey, and brothers Dewayne Veasey and Teddy Carter.
James was survived by his brothers Roy Veasey, Rex Veasey and sister Kathie Semmes.
A memorial service will be held on March 28 at Jehu Cemetery in Wewahitchka. The family encourages friends to share their stories of James at the service.
