CHIPLEY, FL – Kathryn Nelson, 94, of Chipley, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, at her home. Kathryn was born August 19, 1930 in Clarksville to the late George and Rebecca Todd and was a revenue collector for the Florida Department of Transportation.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John C. Nelson, and her sisters, Carla Eaton and Nancy LaPorte.
Survivors include her son, John C. Nelson, Jr.; her daughters, Deborah Woehrel and Lisa Oliver; her grandchildren, Julie Lafontaine, Heather Oliver, Chrystel Eaton and Clayton Woehrel and her great- grandchildren, Sophia, Jayden and Tristan Oliver.
Services to honor Kathryn’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pippin Cemetery in Clarksville.
