BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Lenton Wilson Griffin, age 80, of Blountstown passed away Saturday Nov. 4, 2023.
He was born May 15, 1943, to Horace and Valeda Griffin in Thomasville, GA.
Lenton lived in the Blountstown area most of his life and worked as an electrician.
He enjoyed coon hunting and gardening, but truly loved his family.
Lenton is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Valeda Griffin; wife, Sherry Griffin and sister, Dale Carroll.
He is survived by daughters, Leslie Griffin of Blountstown and Lisa Griffin of Grand Ridge; brothers, Chris Griffin and Sharon of South Carolina, Ronnie Griffin and Cathy of Shell Point; grandchildren, Coty Lanphere, Jesse Griffin, Cheyenne Griffin, Sydney Benton and great-grandchild, Carmen Lanphere.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A celebration of life will be determined for a later date.
All arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home.
