She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Hamilton; her parents; stepchildren, Dallas Hamilton, Raymond Hamilton; siblings, Lillian Howell, James Earl Howell, J.W. Howell; half sisters, Evelyn Clark and Gertrude Howell Graham and brother-in-law, Donald Hamilton.
Mamie is survived by her stepchildren, Roger (Pat), Patsy, Jan (Randy), Shiela and Sidney; nieces and nephews, Larry Graham (Zandra), Barbara Burnett, Sandra Pennington (Jeff), Linda Edenfield (Ruben), Martha Dale Burke (Joe), Keith Hamilton (Cheryl), Diane Dennin (Kevin), and Dawn Chambliss (Keith) and sister-in-law, Jearldene Hamilton.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 17 at James & Sikes Sneads Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Chattahoochee with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Sneads Chapel.
