Mary Moncrief
LIBERTY COUNTY, FL – Mary Moncrief, 79, passed away Feb. 15, 2024 in Marianna.
Mary was born Nov. 27, 1944, in Quincy. She lived most of her life in Liberty County and worked with the Tax Collector’s office.
Mary was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed cross stitching, fishing, coloring, word searches, and loving her grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, John Moncrief and half-brother, Ed Walker.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hyatt and husband Chris of Bainbridge, GA and three grandchildren, John O’Neal, Eric O’Neal, and Keegan Hyatt.
A graveside service was held Feb. 19 at Lake Mystic Cemetery in Bristol with Chaplain Gino Mayo officiating.
All arrangements were under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
