Richard Iverson Bentley
Richard Iverson Bentley, age 81, passed away with his loving wife Catherine by his side on Sunday Feb. 18, 2024, at Vitas Health and Rehab.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Bertie Iona and stepfather Roy David Daniels of Eastpoint; his father, Albert Lee Bentley of Macon, GA; brothers, Curtis Eugene Bentley of Macon, GA and Billy Wayne Daniels of Eastpoint.
Richard leaves behind his wife, Catherine; children, Trish Hollenbeck and Arthur, David Wayne Bentley and Martina, Liz Custer and Mark, Sarah Wilder, Renee Cumbie and Andy, Michelle Usery and Adam; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, H.L. (Bo) Bentley and Cathy of Eastpoint, Robert Bentley and Diane ofMacon, GA, W.D. (David) Daniels and Chris of Buford, GA; sisters, Sarah Phillips and Alan of St. Pete, Bonnie Daniels Yomes of Tallahassee along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who he loved and enjoyed spending time talking, joking around, and fishing with.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16 at Southside Assembly of God, located at 15164 SR 71 South in Blountstown, FL at 1 p.m. CT. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Jude Childrens Hospital in Richard’s name.
Arrangements are under the direction of Peavy Funeral Home.
