Robert “Bobby” Dean Coburn Sr.
BLOUNTSTOWN – God called Robert “Bobby” Dean Coburn Sr. home three days after his 60th birthday on Oct. 4, 2023 and gave him his wings.
Bobby, who lived in Blountstown, was a welder who worked with Scandy-White Boats for over 20 years and enjoyed his job building bass boats.
He and his brother, Sonny, played basketball for the Altha Wildcats and were legends.
He was the son of Skip Coburn and Geraldine Kelly.
He is survived by two sons, Shane Adam Coburn and Robert Dean Coburn Jr.; a stepson, Ethan Young; his brother, Sonny Coburn; two sisters, Sheila Smith and Lorie Parish; and his best friend and ex-wife, Sandy Walt.
He also leaves behind three grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
