Ruth M. Bloodworth
BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Ruth M. Bloodworth, 89, of Blountstown, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024.
Ruth was born in Alva, FL on June 27, 1935, to the late George and Florence Mount.
She worked as a lunchroom supervisor for the Liberty County Schools and later worked for the Division of Forestry in maintenance. She loved sewing and quilting.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Bloodworth; her son, Walther Newton and her sister, Emma Lanier.
Survivors include her son, Butch Newton; her daughters, Angela Nowling and her husband William and Doris Ann Taylor; her grandchildren, Courtney, William, Kimberly, Clifford, Richard, Crystal, Wyatt, Holly and Heidi and nine great-grandchildren.
Services to honor Ruth’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with a time of visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
