Terry Curtis Watson
WEWAHITCHKA, FL – Terry Curtis Watson of Wewahitchka and formerly of Highland View, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the age of 65.
He was born in Leesburg on Sept. 14,1958 to the late James Curtis Watson and Mary Frances Watson.
Terry had a passion for classic hot rods and enjoyed working on them. He was a hard worker and dedicated most of his work career working with his brothers at Watson Brothers Construction.
Most of all, Terry was an honorable man. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend.
Other than his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, James Donald, David Lloyd and Alvery Gene Watson.
His memory will live on through his loving wife of 43 years, Debra Ann Watson, his four children, Lisa McLeod (Mack), Crystal Watson, Stephanie Cherry (Kevin) and Sherri Watson, as well as his two brothers, Tommy Watson (Teresa) and Wayne Watson; his eight grandchildren, Lisa Stockton (Chris) Kayleigh Maxwell (Kyle) Brooke Bush (Logan) Nathan Watson, Caroline Hysmith, Jackson Cherry, Cameron Cherry and Brayden Dean; his three great-grandchildren, Averee Kennedy, Brantlee Taylor and Lane Stockton; a special mother-in-law, Mary Roberts; sister-in-law, Trina Roberts (Dan); brother-in-law, Bascome Roberts (Kim); three special cousins, Ronald Gay, Dan Owens and Matt Knight; lifelong friend Lavon Canington and a host of special loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service to honor Terry’s life will be held 2 p.m. EST Tuesday, June 4 at Hope Family Worship Center, 2001 Garrison Ave. in Port St. Joe with Reverend Glenn Davis officiating.
