Thelma Odell Fant
SNEADS, FL – Thelma Odell Fant, 84, of Sneads, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023, in Marianna. Thelma was born April 16, 1939 in Altha to the late Albert and Trudie Fant and was a homemaker.
Thelma is preceded by her parents as well as her brothers and sisters, Phillip Fant, William Fant, Dolly Mercer, Lillian Bramblett, Julia O’Bryan, Karen Blackburn, Beneva Mayo and Carolyn Anemos and a half brother, Carl Fant.
She is survived by her sister, Jeannie Stricker.
She loved birds and had a favorite poem: “A gentle reminder that we’re never far apart. My spirit will live on forever there within your heart and when you see a cardinal, here to brighten your day, remember that I’m there with you, and there I’ll always stay.”
Services to honor Thelma will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with a time of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Old Shiloh Cemetery near Altha.
