Willie Roger Adkins
BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Willie Roger Adkins, age 81, of Blountstown, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 in Blountstown. He was born on April 8, 1942 in Blountstown to Willie Adkins and Lucy Pelt and had lived in Blountstown all of his life.
Willie was a handy man who enjoyed watching westerns on TV and spending time with his family. He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois Adkins; brother, Clarence Adkins; and sisters Anna Jean Wolf, Lucille Adkins and Louise Womack.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Stotz and husband, Cody, of Blountstown and Rhonda Tipton of Bristol; brother Eugine Adkins of Altha; five grandchildren, Bradley Pitts, Shawn Pitts, Ethan Pitts, Chase Tipton, and James Tipton; and three great-grandchildren, Gabe Jones, Emma Jones and Brantley Tipton.
Memorialization will be by cremation. The family will have a service at a later date.
All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
