Crawfordville man
killed in Wakulla Co.
crash Tuesday night
WAKULLA CO. – A 52-year-old Crawfordville man walking in the northbound lane of Revadee Spears Road, north of Ivan Church Road, was killed Tuesday night when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The fatal crash happened at 9:25 p.m. and left the pedestrian on the east shoulder of the road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Crawfordville man, 32, was driving northbound on the road when the front of his pickup truck hit the pedestrian before coming to rest in the northbound lane.
FHP was assisted at the scene by the Wakulla County Sheriff’s office and Wakulla County Fire & EMS.

Unidentified man dies
after walking along I-10 in
Pensacola early Wednesday
ESCAMBIA CO. – A man walking adjacent to Lane #1 on Interstate 10 in Pensacola died after he was hit by a westbound pickup truck shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The man, who was on foot near Mile Marker 11, has not yet been identified.
According to the FHP report, the pedestrian was struck by the front portion of a westbound pickup truck driven by a 64-year-old Pensacola man.
The truck came to a stop on the southern shoulder of I-10, east of Mile Marker 11. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by Escambia County EMS.
The accident remains under investigation.
