BLOUNTSTOWN – Lenton “Len” Wilson Griffin’s ashes will be laid to rest at Nettle Ridge Cemetery in  Blountstown on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. CT.
His Celebration of Life will be held at the graveside with a simple service for anyone who would like to pay their respects.
Len, who was 80, passed away on Nov. 4.
He was born to Horace and Valeda Griffin in Thomasville, GA.
He lived in the Blountstown area most of his life and worked as an electrician. Â He enjoyed coon hunting and gardening, but truly loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sherry Griffin and his sister, Dale Carroll.
He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Griffin of Blountstown and Lisa Griffin of Grand Ridge; his brothers, Chris Griffin and  Sharon of  South  Carolina, Ronnie   Griffin and Cathy of Shell Point; grandchildren Coty Lanphere, Jesse Griffin, Cheyenne Griffin, Sydney Benton and great-grandchild Carmen Lanphere.
Arrangements were handed by Peavy Funeral Home.
