Farm Bureau marks Farm-City Week
by helping shoppers pay for groceries
BRISTOL & BLOUNTSTOWN – Farm-City Week is celebrated the week leading up to Thanksgiving: Nov. 15-22, 2023. This weeklong celebration is used to celebrate and recognize the beneficial partnerships between rural and urban communities that keep us connected to our land and neighbors. Liberty County Farm Bureau celebrated Farm City week Monday by giving out $500 in cash at The Piggly Wiggly in Bristol to help towards groceries being purchased.

Calhoun-Gulf County Farm Bureau Board Member Buddy Smith, along with BHS FFA Treasurer Morgan Vickery and BHS FFA Member Brianna Varnum, gave out $625 in cash for Farm City Week Monday  at Ramsey’s Cash Saver.
