• Easter Eggstravaganza at Lake Mystic Baptist Church in Bristol from 10 a.m. until noon. Join us for a kids’ egg hunt, free family cookout, toddler bounce house, music and games.
• TORREYA STATE PARK HISTORY PRESENTATION starts at 11 a.m. ET in the picnic area. State Historian Andrew Waber will share the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps – a work relief program that ran from 1933 to 1942 – that supplied jobs to develop natural resources in rural areas. Bring a lunch to enjoy after the talk. Hikers will gather at 9 a.m. ET to take a one mile trek before the talk.
