Obituary – Alice Turner

ALICE GWENDOLYN TURNER

ALTHA – Alice Gwendolyn Turner, 64, of Altha, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, June 22, 2023. Alice was born on Aug. 26, 1958, in Marianna to her mother, Barbara Hand and her father, Alvin Williford. Alice enjoyed going to car shows and taking weekend trips out of town.  A loving mother and grandmother, she was always up for time spent with her loved ones.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother, father, and late husband, Troy Turner.

She is survived by her daughter, Euteava Ellis; son, Chris Ellis; brother, Greg; sister, Terri; grandchildren, Terri Gerard (Jared), Tristen Ellis (Sierra), Cayla Viele, Aryan Ellis, Fox Blake-Ellis (Stephanie), Ethan Ellis, and Stormi Burden;  and her great-grandchildren, Jasper and Piper Gerard, Kasen and Arabella Ellis, Tucker Henry, Levi Alexander, Inocencio and Killian Rivera, Asher Brown, Ira and Ezra Viele.

Family received friends and relatives on June 29 at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. Services were officiated by Rev. Allen Nichols. Interment followed at Chipola Cemetery in Altha.

All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
