Patsy King
BLOUNTSTOWN, FL – Patsy King, 81, of Blountstown was called home early Thursday morning, Sept. 28, 2023.
Born in Florida, she lived in Calhoun County all her life. She was a Southern Baptist, a retired cook, homemaker and loving wife and mother. She loved reading, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Gene Rollins Sr. of Blountstown,
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Harvey Daniel King; one daughter, Vicki Lynn King and one sister, Mary Angela Champion, all of Blountstown. She had seven grandchildren, including Kristopher Blake Bailey, Matthew Mason McGhee, Crayton Thomas Capps and Cody Chandler Capps, all of Blountstown; Montana Daniele Bailey of Altha, Courtney Lee McGhee Ledonne of Kentucky, and Shana McGhee of Bristol; nine great-grandchildren and nephews Gordon Gene Rollins Jr. of Blountstown, George Wayne Pelt of Panama City, and Earl Wayne Rollins of WI. Nieces include Norma Gene Rollins, Malinda Michelle Pelt and Renee Rollin, all of Blountstown.
There will be a service at the home of Patsy King at 15656 State Rd. 71 South in Blountstown on Oct. 7 beginning at 12 p.m. CT. All family and friends are invited.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown.
