PENSACOLA, FL – Audrey E. Goshen, 81, of Pensacola, and formerly of Blountstown, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023 in Pensacola.
Audrey was born in Panama City on Nov. 22, 1941, to Daniel and Ruth Ellis. She spent her formative years in Panama City but later spent her married life moving around, living in Alabama, Alaska, California, and eventually retiring in Blountstown.
Throughout her adult life she worked in various financial organizations. Her last was working as a medical biller for First Physicians Medical Group. After retiring, she relocated to Blountstown where she became a member of the Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. She enjoyed meeting her new friends in this area and remained here until relocating to an Assist Living facility in Pensacola. Throughout her life, she faced many medical challenges, but she never gave up her desire to live.
Audrey will be missed by her relatives as well as the many friends and acquaintances she acquired. A strong Christian throughout her life, her desire was to live the Christian life in such a way that her family and others would follow the beliefs of her savior.
Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, Keith Goshen, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bell and her husband Jim, her son Troy Pittman and his wife, Patti and her daughter, Hope Espada. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Ellis, her brother, Charles Ellis and his wife Vicki, her sister Betty Tate and her husband, Steve, and her sister, Sue Ellis. In addition, she is survived by eight grandchildren, Michael Bell, Mark Bell, Jerrod Bell and his wife Michelle, Troy Pittman III, Andrew Berg, Alexis Halley, Cole Espada and Avery Espada and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 15 at Williams United Memorial Church near Blountstown.
